I bought this mic for voice recording directly to my laptop. For the price, it's fantastic. The quality is decent; not great but not bad. It does seem to have a good frequency range pickup, though a little high on the mid frequency (which is not an issue for what I am doing). If you are doing pod-casting, and your recording is simply going to be compressed eventually anyway, it's a good mic for the price. But, This is not a professional quality mic. If you want professional quality you will need to spend at least $100 on a Sure SM series mic (at the cheapest), or opt for Neumann condenser mic if you want to record singing/music (up to $1000.). But, if you are looking for something very affordable that gets the job done, this is likely the mic for you. It comes with a cable already set up with XLR on one side (to connect to the mic) and a micro-headphone (standard) connector on the other side (for analogue input on your computer).

I didn't expect much from this mic for being under $20 but I have been pleasantly surprised. I use it for live streaming on Twitch and it works great. The only problem I had(which is why I deducted one star) is if you're streaming or recording and you move the microphone you get a TON of static if it is moving. Once it is stationary again it clears right up and since I don't move it(unless I bump the desk and it slide) thats not a big deal so I only took away one star. For anyone recording or streaming on a budget, I highly recommend this mic.

I bought this mic because up until I had it I was using a headset with a built in mic. That works great but after a couple of hours my ears get hot and I would much prefer to just use a desktop mic and have the sound come out my speakers. I currently have this mic setup on my desk and I am probably a foot and half away from it. With that being said everyone in chat can hear me perfectly and the response to it is GREAT!

It works, was cheap, but feels cheap.
The stand broke right above the feet. I replaced the screw with a longer one and screwed it higher into the base, and it works fine now.

cheap, saves you money
works and people can hear the audio fine

I've been told the audio is hissy
the stand snapped easily
EDIT: TONOR messaged me and offered a refund. I'm giving the product 3 stars for its average quality but adding 1 star for their support. I'm not taking the refund because the product still works and you get what you pay for. If it had wanted a BIFL/quality mic I would have dropped more cash for something else. This product gets the job done at a cheap price, and although it broke, I was able to fix it with a longer screw that grabbed deeper into the plastic base. The mic itself has no issues working and has been trouble free; the cable is thick with adequate strain relief on both ends, and the housing itself feels solid.

This microphone is well constructed and feels very solid. The USB connection works flawlessly within Linux, plug and play. I think the sound quality is very well suited for spoken word, podcasts, or screencasts, but probably wouldn't recommend it as an instrument mic. Its nice that it has a headphone jack on the mic itself so you can use it as a full usb audio interface if you wanted to. Overall quality is good and seems to have very good noise reduction/voice isolation. I would recommend this as a budget midrange podcast microphone.

I purchased this microphone on a whim, but I am extremely impressed with the quality and ease of use. The microphone is packaged well, tucked neatly in plastic and foam. Unboxing and setup were about as simple as you can get. I plugged the mic into my laptop and the drivers installed in seconds. They mean it when they say, "plug and play". Audio quality exceeded my expectations but I wouldn't call the audio "crystal clear". The mic does a fantastic job of drowning out any white noise from the room, the recordings off this product are noticeably clearer than both my built-in laptop mic and the mic on my video camera. The ability to adjust the volume via the dial is a great help as well. Overall, this product has impressed me.

Got this to replace my laptop mic and liked that it was able to pick up more but as a double bladed weapon it can pick up too much. the capture quality is also not the best but as a cheaper alternative it wasn't too bad. Will need to make sure to save up and maybe get a yeti one. Still it is a good one for what its worth. glad it actually came with a nice little stand.
